Here is a little something to get myself started on the right foot for the New Year to come...
I plan on focusing on being more in CREATIVE MODE (all the time!) for my New Years Resolution.
Whatever it takes... New 3D Modeling/Animations, New Painting, New Illustrations...
I want to get better at everything I do. NO Excuses!

Speed Painting Session 5

Well, its been a while since I posted, and its been a couple weeks since I did these paintings with Chatree. Other things have been going on in the background to make the time available for such things as these painting sessions hard to come by. But I plan on keeping it up as much as possible, as well as other projects going on.

Speed Paint 3 Update 2

Here is another 2 Hrs. put into it for a total of 4 Hrs. I think I have fixed the placements now and can continue with it. I am getting the hang of it now and feel like I a improving a great deal with this one. Thanks to Chatree who's been a really great at helping me. You can see his work at PaintATree, just click the link in the links menu.

Speed Paint 3 Update

I like working on this one, I wanted to keep going with it. So I put in another hour to fix it up and continue taking it farther. Total time so far is 2 Hrs. I think I would have been to this point in one hour had I not started off all wrong, I have been spending most of the time fixing it. But I learned from it, thats the important thing. I plan to work on this one until I finish it.
It is a great learning tool go off of someone else's work when first starting out.

Speed Painting Session 3

Well, Chatree surprised me with quite the challenge with this one, this particular painting session was quite fun, and I learned quite a lot of things I need to pay more attention to when I start... I was just so gung ho about doing this one that I didn't pay attention to where I was placing the elements, rather, I was just flinging the brush where ever throwing down the base colors as shown in the first 20 min image. During the break and reviewing it thats when I realized my error, and most of the 2nd round I worked to correct the placements, however, I messed up the tower a bit, Although it can easily be fixed with more time on it.
